He begins painting with a large flat brush to get some quick area coverage on his large rectangular deep edged canvas and quickly begins to form huge curves and arcs to set the trend for his abstract painting. He blends his acrylic paints whilst on the canvas itself rather than on a separate and so the painting takes a more natural and organic progression. His use of the paint brush is also worth noting as it is not just the large flat side of the brush that is used but also the side to paint more controlled solid lines to help add more defining shapes and patterns.
This art video is easy to follow and does take on a nice step by step approach, so what are you waiting for? Go and get your paints, brushes and some canvas and get creating some fantastic abstract art!
