Artpromotivate

My name is Graham Matthews and I am the creator of Artpromotivate. I would like to thank Ian Thomson and his team for giving me this opportunity to post here at ArtisanHQ. Congratulations on building a great resource for artists at all stages of their artistic development.

Artpromotivate is a website/blog I began about 6 months ago, but is something I planned on doing long before that. When I first ventured into the online world a few years ago to showcase my art, I placed my art on a couple social networks. I found that the response was always positive and encouraging. I discovered blogging, and created a blog to show some of my paintings and drawings. I posted for awhile, and expected hordes of visitors… but it did not happen! So, I began to research on how to attract visitors to my blog. I discovered that there was lots of information on the subject scattered across the web, but it would take a while to learn and gather together. I decided to learn html, seo, Photoshop, and everything I needed to know to promote my drawings and paintings online. I am no expert on these subjects, but I have learned how to use them and apply them to my own art sites.

The idea for Artpromotivate came out of a desire to share the information on promoting art, on one single website. Artpromotivate is filled with articles on social networking, free portfolio websites, Photoshop tutorials, protecting art from online theft, seo tips, and much more. I am continually researching new topics and discovering new methods to promote my own art, and sharing them with Artpromotivate readers.

Artpromotivate takes an ACTIVE approach in the promotion of artists.

Artists who fill out the interview questionnaire are regularly featured in the artist spotlight. We promote these articles with the Artpromotivate Facebook Page, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, and a few other networks, to ensure that artist gets lots of exposure from the interview. There is no charge for this, nor will there ever be.

If you are an artist, you are more than welcome to request a spotlight. We welcome all genres of visual artists, including painters, mixed media, sculptors, photographers, and more. Please visit here for details: Artist Spotlight at Artpromotivate

Everyone is welcome to visit and browse our wide range of articles for artists. These are a few of the topics that we have covered:
