In this video tutorial by Ben Saber you are taught by use of bright vibrant colors  how to achieve sunset clouds over boggy marshes. Saber has his own unique starting point with his use of block color, but he soon incorporates much of the traditional methods associated with acrylic application. An attainable result for any intermediate acrylic artist!

  4. Hi Ben, great video! I noticed that when you first start painting the clouds’ reflections, they appear to have much softer edges than when you paint the clouds. Is this because you take different amounts of paint onto the brush, or for some other reason?
I have tried to vary the softness of my edges, but can’t seem to do it! I know a lot of that is just practice, but I need to have it work once before I can practice it! :)
