Hi, could you please tell me all the colors you used to get that correct skin color? I can never get one right. Plus, I noticed that you went from painting light to darker tone to then again lighter tone.. correct me if i am wrong.

I imagine the underlying lines are being used as guides. I am speaking for myself, since I am not the artist here. It’s hard to believe how easily one can go way off the design you want to paint without any guidelines, of whatever vehicle; whether pencil, paint, charcoal, or whatever works for the artist. She can speak for herself, since she’s clearly an amazing artist. Just my two cents.

Extraordinary piece of work. As for sharing her skills-what do you think she’s doing here? Or do you want her to magically give you her talent? That sounds nice, but then, you’d be painting her work, not yours. Think about it. And how do you know she is not using a classical technique? Did all classical painters use layers like Titian? I don’t know, and I don’t care. Good art is what I care about. Paint it a la prima, or paint it in a dozen layers. Just do a good job, or maybe even a great one!
