Another great informative and educational art video tutorial from professional artist Will Kemp where he explains to you how to set up an acrylic stay-wet palette. They come in two sizes, an A4 and an A3, always go for the A3 as you will always need more room to mix your acrylic paints.

You put the first sheet of paper down and saturate it with enough to be able to drain the excess into a glass (although you should retain a small amount for further natural soaking) before then applying your second sheet making sure all the corners are bedded tight into the corners of the wet palette tray. Once that’s done…voila! You have a stay-wet palette ready for action.
